CrunchyList
My kids love anime, and Crunchyroll is both a wonderful source of shows for them and a cesspool of fan service that's impossible to filter out. CrunchyList is a Google TV app that shows them only the shows I've approved, and brings them back if they wander into the rest. Every show has a short written description, so they can pick one without judging it by the poster.
It isn't on the Play Store. The app, install instructions and code are on GitHub.
